Af-WC with WATER JET Side Edge Tuning Machine
Brand new for season 23-24.The Af-WC is Snowglide's newest technology for the top level of ski racing. Available in 2 versions Dry or with Water Jet. Dry version is the most common, while the Water Jet version is the "over-the-top" model.
New design is packed with new functions and features. It is vastly becoming the go-to machine for World Cup Technicians. AF-WC is the model for the tuning fanatic who wants the option to address the finest attention to detail.
The new bomber redesigned construction, still maintains the Snowglide philosophy of simple but accurate use, weight of machine supported by the ski and consistent spring pressure grinding.
Based off of our most popular Af-C machine bomber construction, the new Af-WC adds critical features for the most detailed tuner. Infinitely micro adjustable degree angle dial. Roller bearing base interface for smooth glide and easier tip grinding. New solid dependable brushless motor with speed control, run from a new 24 volt power source doubling torque. Adjustable grinding spring tension.
The HYDRO version adds the ability to added a water jet from a Kracher vacuum. the water lubricates and keeps grinding temperature down. Can also be run without the water in dry mode.
All the new features brings a new level of Snowglide quality and edge finishing with tuning settable adjustments
Af-WC HYDRO WATER JET features:
- All the same features as WC DRY version with additional WATER JET LUBRICATION
- Attaching a Kracher Puzzi vacuum allows for a localized jet stream of water to spray on the stone as it grinds the edge
- Water lubricates and keeps grinding temperature low for ultra fine finish
- Jet is localized directly on grind wheel where it is in contact with the edge
- Vacuum removes 90+% of water after it passes over the edge, so ski has minimal water after you finish running the machine on the edge

Important note: requires a Karcher Puzzi 8/1 water vacuum to have the water jet function. At this time the Puzzi is the only vacuum we have validated to work optimally. Other brands and models may be an option in the future.
